9-23-25   THOUGHTS

In the process of what we call LIFE...  Are we PROCLAIMNG THE LORD’S DEATH?  As we visualize the scene, are we propelled outwardly?  Is SHARING what is here to remember, a part of what happens?   A memorial was meant to move information about some significant happening on down the line!  Nothing has ever been SO SIGNIFICANT!  This is God SAVING US!  THE PROCLAMATION OF THIS ETERNAL HAPPENING IS A MUST!  Our reading shows God’s intention that HIS SON would OCCUPY THE CENTER OF OUR SOULS!  It must be in us, AND BY US...  in others!    

1Cor 10:16-17    Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ?  17  Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.  
1Cor 11:23-26      For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread;  24  and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me."   25  In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."  26  For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

Our Prayer:
Father God, You have saved us awesomely!  Help us to proclaim that saving mightily.  May the joy of  Your salvation flow readily from our hearts and lips. How You have blessed us Lord.  Help our continual recall of the events we read about.  May we discern them carefully, and preciously each time they flow through our souls!  Awaken us Lord to our possibilities.  In the name of our Lord Jesus,   Amen.
